Swimming celebration at school

REFURBISHED swimming pool changing rooms at St Andrew's Primary School, North Weald, have been officially opened.
The vice-chairman of governors, Edwyn Gilmour, cut the ribbon to officially open the brightly coloured changing area on the first day of swimming this year.

A representative from Mossford who carried out the work were among those present.

Head teacher Gill Young said: "It looks like a new building and is so bright cheerful and welcoming.

"Our swimming Teacher Denise Powell brought along Jasmine who is going to help with teaching swimming this term. We are proud to say at St Andrew's that every pupil leaves the school a swimmer!"
