ASFP Introduction to Passive Fire Protection

Just completed the approximately 3 hours of videos and the final exam for this Level 1 online course. Whilst I would like to think my PFP knowledge at this level there were some very interesting videos about other subjects such as active systems including sprinklers so the course definitely rounded out my appreciation of how all the different fire protection systems work together to keep a building safe.

I did the course following a recommendation from @ from International Fire Consultants and I’m now signing up my colleagues Antony Luxton, Joe Del Grosso, Terry Maltby, Brian Coleman, Chris Harris and Kevin Johnson to complete the same course.

The course is administered by Fire Risk Consultancy, who are specialist in fire safety training and seminars for all businesses and sectors. They are an Institute of Fire Safety Managers approved centre and affiliated to the Institution of Fire Engineers.

Once everyone has completed this, a few of us will be moving onto the Level 2 or 3 programmes as our minimum standard of training for anyone working for our passive fire protection business.
