Mossford team training day

The company spent the 11th March at Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club. This annual event means we can update on H&S, procedures, latest innovations and give everyone the opportunity to propose new ideas or point out deficiencies. Antony Luxton opened proceedings with a review of recent projects, upcoming work and a flavour of projects in the pipeline.

The first break was an opportunity to update face fitting for the JSP Safety Force 8 respirators. These were mandated by Kier Construction a few years ago now and we have used them exclusively since.

We then welcomed Malcolm Williams from Quelfire Ltd who gave an excellent presentation on their fire stopping products. This was a new subject to some but everyone was engaged and are now keen to join the installer team. Thank you Quelfire.

Various members of the team presented on COSHH, dust, working with lead and working in confined spaces. We were pleased to be able to congratulate supervisor Kevin Johnson on the award of his L3 OWS (on his birthday) and to present the inaugural "Most valued" shield to Brian Coleman for being the installer being audited on both of our company third part accreditation visits. Calm under scrutiny. Thank you, Brian!
